Through The Lens...

Assignment #14:

Who is David Hockney?
David Hockney was apart of the British Pop Art movement in the early 1960s. His paintings were later decriminalized in 1967. This caused him to start painting scenes of the "sensual and uninhibited life of athletic men." In the mid-1970s, Hockney began experimenting with cameras, which caused him to create his photocollages with Polaroids. Over his years, he has produced artwork in almost everywhere: opera set designs, prints and drawings, using fax machines, laser photocopiers, computers and iPhones and iPads.
