Chair Photos

Here are all of the chair photos that I took over Thanksgiving break. I really like this idea and I think my favorite photos are the first three. I am not a huge fan of the Christmas trees one. I might re-take them. My camera was acting weird and it was dark so the photos did not turn out that good. If I end up doing the underwater Concentration, then I could put one of these photos in my breath. I was maybe thinking of putting the second on in Scholastic? My other ideas for the chair: - On the beach (Maybe Baker's Beach) - In the city with people walking by --> doing a long exposure - Near a bunch of cars and get light trails I also took this photo at the Christmas tree place and I really like it. There is no chair though...

It's So Surreal!

Assignment #13: For this photo, I wanted to do something similar like Sarah DeRemer's photo with the cat. I took multiple pictures of my dog looking out a window. It was hard for me to photograph my dog, I would have to shout "Squirrel!' at her and she would immediately look out the window but only for a little bit of time. For the fish photo, I went PetCo, since I don't have fish at my house. I had a hard time photoshopping this picture at first. I decided to get rid of the background of the fish and just make it plain blue. I also chose a different photo of my dog and ended up making this photo. 1. Real is something that exists on our Earth and is imaginable. Surreal is an idea that is made up in a dream and comes to life by a artist, giving the artwork a bizarre quality. Assignment #14: Who is David Hockney? David Hockney was apart of the British Pop Art movement in the early 1960s. His paintings were later decriminalized in 1967. This caused him to start painting scenes of the "sensual and uninhibited life of athletic men." In the mid-1970s, Hockney began experimenting with cameras, which caused him to create his photocollages with Polaroids. Over his years, he has produced artwork in almost everywhere: opera set designs, prints and drawings, using fax machines, laser photocopiers, computers and iPhones and iPads. My Photo:
