Aaron Siskind takes texture and puts it in a creative way. I tried to create his photos through different textures throughout the school. The first picture was in the sculpture room on the side of a cabinet. I thought the paint splattered on the side made the texture pop. There was also a square hole that I tried to make the focus of photo. The second photo was the carpet on the side of the walls in the hallways. I saw a rip in the carpet that made the photo more interesting. I put this photo in black and white but it didn't pop out as much.
